Job Description:
The primary objective of this role is to assist a team of trainers in developing training materials and curricula, and deliver end user training on the use of proprietary applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform needs analysis for on-the-job, classroom and computer-based training.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, application architects, and business customers to analyze training needs, design effective and relevant training materials, and align learning initiatives with business objectives.
• Ability to translate the end-user experience into a concise, logically organized end product.
• Deliver and facilitate instructor-led training for end‑users on the use of proprietary software.
• Prepare training curriculums that include lecture, hands‑on exercises, ideas for group discussions, and demonstrations.
• Develop and create participant guides and facilitator guides for new and existing application development projects.
• Edit and maintain facilitator guides and participant guides as requested.
• Participate in the development of documentation materials with technical writing staff as needed.
• Establish working relationships with software developers and subject matter experts.
  

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• BS/BA degree required or 7 years of equivalent work experience facilitating instructor-led training in a classroom setting in lieu of degree.
• Experience on justice projects highly desirable.
• Experience with on‑line learning development tools (Adobe Captivate®) and knowledge of adult learning theories is a plus.
• Experience developing and writing instructional materials.
• Extensive experience in the use of Microsoft® Office product suite; Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Project. 
• Demonstrated excellence and professionalism as a trainer or instructor.
• Ability to translate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver training to diverse audiences.
• Solid instructor‑led classroom skills and the ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations.
• The ability to work with users with varying skill levels and learning abilities.
  Ability to work on a team in all capacities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time successfully.
• Software development life cycle knowledge and experience.
• Travel required.
