Managing Directors David B. Crawford and Peter T. Zackaroff have collaborated over the last 18 years to develop and implement innovative solutions for private industry as well as integrated justice initiatives.

Today, under their leadership and experience, The Amicus Group is dedicated to providing the highest quality consulting and implementation services to America's courts and judicial agencies.

 

David B. Crawford

Managing Director

David is a CPA and recognized expert in the design of complex financial systems. Prior to being acquired by a publicly traded company, Mr. Crawford was sole owner of Crawford Consulting Inc. (CCI).  CCI provided state of the art solutions for a number of major companies including Commonwealth Edison of Illinois, Redpath Sugars, United Nations Drug Control Program (Austria), Houston Petroleum, Land of Lakes, NORIS and Agency Rent-a-Car.

In 1994, CCI acquired the license rights to an early generation court case management solution and reengineered the legacy product into a comprehensive CMS application. Under David's leadership the company grew into a nationally recognized leader in integrated justice solutions and implementation services with over 300 clients throughout the United States.

Peter T. Zackaroff

Managing Director

Pete joined CCI in 1996 as Vice President and General Counsel.  Over the last 13 years, he has established himself as a subject matter expert in comparative court operations and procedures as well as a leading CMS executive managing multiple implementation projects.  Pete has also drafted and negotiated contracts for a number of complex CMS transactions including Alaska, Massachusetts, Nevada, Washington D.C., Qatar, and Victoria, Australia.

Prior to joining CCI, Pete was Executive Vice  President and Chief Legal Officer for Agency Rent-A-Car where, among other responsibilities, he managed the successful defense of over 1,000 litigated personal injury and products liabilities claims throughout the United States and Canada, as well as the settlement of an additional 4,000 pre-suit claims. He was the executive sponsor of Agency's IT migration project which, with the custom solutions developed by CCI, transitioned the company from a  mainframe environment to a state of the art  solution that incorporated available best practices.
